Another pillar of the CILIFO Center is the training of workers for effective performance of their duties, as well as to prevent and reduce risks and disasters. The objective is for CILIFO to be the starting point for the evolution of the current system (based on theoretical training courses) to a more practical system for workers, focused on the necessary competencies for the deployment of the ‘Wildfire Emergency Management System (SMEIF)’ during forest fires. The implementation of this ‘Accreditation System’ provides standardization, professionalism, and safety in the new scenario of wildfire suppression operations.

The actions within this task include:
