Andalusia’s Water and Environment Agency (AMAYA) is an enterprise public agency. As the manager of INFOCA Plan’s assignment, it is an organization with plenty of experience and skills on operational and preventive actions, as well as on technical studies in the context of forest fires. In research, the work done by the staff of AMAYA and the knowledge management of the INFOCA plan should be noted, among others, to which the Equipo Regional de Quemas de Andalucia (ERQUA) is added. The ERQUA has developed the use of prescribed burns in Andalusia and the fire-technical training for INFOCA’s staff.
