The Department of Agriculture, Farming, Fishing and Sustainable Development of the Junta de Andalucía is competent for agriculture, farming, food, environment, water and climate change. Including: the conservation, sustainable use, improvement and restoration of Andalusia’s natural heritage and biodiversity; the promotion of a sustainable socio-economic development with regard to our natural heritage and, particularly, within the protected natural areas, as well as their public use; the integrated management of environmental quality, including environmental liability and environmental damage repair.
