DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATION

Another pillar of the CILIFO Center is boosting the research environment towards cooperative work in the framework of the Center as an entity that supports and manages the strategy to be implemented in the field of forest fires according to the identified needs and validating the available opportunities.

The aim is to establish the Center as a transmission cable connecting research activities and the required innovation.

The actions within this task are:

  • Action 4.1. Research to deepen scientific knowledge and generation of operational applications on the analysis and risk management of forest fires.
  • Action 4.2. Research to deepen scientific knowledge and generation of operational applications on prescribed fire.
  • Action 4.3. Analysis of the performance and the effects of fires on the ecosystem to prevent and forecast post-fire impact and improve restoration.
